OWATONNA: Be here at 8:30 a.m. sharp. The Bus leaves at 8:45 a.m. from the Centro Campesino’s office in Owatonna.

FARIBAULT: The Bus will leave at 9:15 a.m. from El Tequila Mexican Restaurant - 951 Faribault Rd., off Lyndale Ave.

RETURN TIME: Students in Faribault - 1:45 p.m./Students in Owatonna - 2:00 p.m. Return times are approximate.

IMPORTANT: If you are under the age of 18, you must have a Permission Slip signed by your parents. If you don’t have a permission slip, you will not be allowed to get on the bus!

SNACKS and FOOD: Snacks will be provided by Centro Campesino. Lunch will be provided by Carleton College.

***Please bring at least $10.00 in case of an emergency.***

SNACKS and FOOD: Snacks will be provided by Centro Campesino. A brown bag lunch will be provided by Metropolitan State University.

IMPORTANT: If you are under the age of 18, you must have a PERMISSION SLIP signed by your parents. If you don't have a permission slip, you WILL NOT be allowed to get on the bus!

***Please bring at least $10 to buy an afternoon snack or souvenir at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory. You are responsible for anything you wish to purchase!***

Estaremos organizando una fiesta de graduación para celebrar a los estudiantes latinos que se graduaran de la high school, los que van a ir al colegio este otoño y los que se van a graduaran de colegios comunitarios. Tendremos comida y reconocimientos para los estudiantes. También tendremos un baile de 8 a 10 de la noche.

Invitados:
• ¡Todos los padres de familia- Queremos que aprendan mas de nuestro programa y que aprendan mas sobre como mandar a sus hijos a la universidad!
• Todos los jóvenes miembros del Programa Latino de Acceso Universitario y El grupo de Jovenes, padres y amigos.

Centro Campesino Latino Graduation Party

What:
We are hosting a graduation party to celebrate all Latino seniors graduating high school, those going to college this fall, and those graduating from community colleges. We’ll have food and recognitions for those graduating. We’ll have a dance from 8:00 to 10 p.m.

Who: All members of the Latino College Access Program and Now! Youth Network, their parents and friends!!!! Parents are invited to come and learn more about our program and to learn more about college.

When: Friday June 18, 2010 from 6-10 p.m.

Where: Morehouse Park Chalet - Owatonna, MN 55060
(Directions from Centro Campesino Office: Keep south on Oak Ave, turn right on E. School St.)

University of Wisconsin, River falls is located in River Falls Wisconsin (30 minutes from the Twin Cities) and is part of the University of Wisconsin System. Get the best of both worlds…rural setting, close to a major metropolitan area!

For All Students: the Bus will leave at 7:30 a.m. from Centro Campesino’s office located at 216 North Oak Ave, Owatonna, MN. We are across the street from Subway next to the Mexican store

For students in Faribault: Bus will leave at 8:00 from El Tequila Restaurant in Faribault

IMPORTANT: If you are a high school student under 18, you need to have the Permission Slip signed by your parents and ready to be turned in the day of the trip!

Parents are encouraged to come!

Snacks and Food: Snacks will be provided by Centro Campesino but you are responsible for your own lunch. Please bring at least $10.00 to buy your lunch!

The Latino College Access Program (LCAP) will be conducting an ACT Review Session for High School Juniors and Seniors that are preparing to take the ACT college entrance exam. If you are planning to go to a 4-year university, you may need to take the ACT. Don’t be unprepared!

Material covered: Thursday the 28th English/Reading - Friday the 29th Math/Science

Transportation can be provided upon request. Please let us know ahead of time if you will need transportation so that we can make the proper arrangements. Snacks will be provided!
