The 2004 General Annual Assembly of Members, Allies, and Friends of Centro Campesino, where the membership elects the board of directors, and members and allies vote on setting agenda priorities of Centro Campesino.

Our mission is to improve the lives of migrant workers and rural Latina/os and to create a strong southern Minnesota Latino/a voice.

Our programs and campaigns are guided by our values of faith, hope, unity and justice, we are a membership organization that was born and exists to create and demand positive social change.

Our programs and campaigns include

  • Youth Organizing and Education
  • Health Promoter Project

Our strategies

  • Utilize community organizing to create long-term, institutional changes
  • Build a membership that is involved, informed and united
  • Promote and develop leadership from new immigrant Latino/a and migrant worker communities
  • Promote and develop anti-racist, inclusive leadership in European American communities
  • Utilize popular education to understand issues and explore solutions
  • Advocate for change as a group and with individual cases
  • Provide direct services
